Dr. Chris Hartley
I was drawn to the Chiropractic profession in my early 20’s after my father sustained a lower back injury that left him bed ridden for days due to severe back spasms. I literally carried him into the Chiropractors office and he was able to walk out on crutches about an hour later. Within a few weeks he was moving normally again and by the end of a month’s time he was back to his normal pain free self. I changed my major in college the following semester.
I graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in April 1998 with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree and B.Sc. in Human Biology. I passed my Certified Strength and Condition Specialist exam in 2001. Most recently, I became a Certified Fitness Nutrition Coach in 2016.
My interest in health and nutrition started when I started weight training at 13 which led me to competing in bodybuilding and powerlifting competitions starting at the age of 17; to this day I still compete and judge bodybuilding competitions.
My wife Carrie and I own Perfect Fit – Fitness and Nutrition LLC. We help people at all levels reach their health and fitness related goals from losing a few pounds to competing at the elite level.
Outside of the health and fitness field I enjoy spending time with my wife Carrie and my 3 children: Alex, Koelton and Vyvien. We enjoy traveling, water parks, fishing and soccer.
